Shift: 8am to 4:30pm

We're currently seeking a Billing & Freight Scheduling Coordinator at a leading industrial equipment manufacturer in Franklin Park, IL. You will play a vital role in maintaining efficient customer service, accurate order processing, handling incoming phone calls, fax and email correspondence.

Base Salary: $17/hr to $20/hr

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of customer service or freight coordinating experience
  • Highschool Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience working in manufacturing is preferred.
  • Experience in addressing and resolving inquiries related to company information and customer service calls with professionalism and accuracy.
  • Experience performing essential bookkeeping tasks, managing filing systems, and handling various clerical duties to support office operations.
  • Experience efficiently processing orders, including accurate order entry, thorough review for correct handling, pricing, quantities, and shipping data verification.
  • Experience keeping customers informed about unit prices, shipping dates, anticipated delays, and any additional information required to ensure a smooth transaction.
  • Experience scheduling orders in customer portals and coordinating order pick-ups to meet customer requirements and timelines.
  • Experience generating and sending invoices for customer orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Experience collaborating closely with the Shipping Department to guarantee on-time delivery of products.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer inquiries about company and customer service calls.
  • Perform basic bookkeeping, filing, and clerical duties.
  • Work as receptionist backup when needed.
  • Respond to questions regarding pricing and services.
  • Process orders including order entry, order review for correct handling, pricing, quantities and shipping data.
  • Inform customers of unit prices, shipping date, anticipated delays, and any additional information needed by the customer.
  • Scheduling orders in customer portals and arranging order pick up.
  • Invoice customer orders.
  • Partner with Shipping Department to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Process replacements and sample request
  • Knowledgeable in PowerPoint
  • Create customer labels.
