We are hiring for two locations:  Downtown Napa and St. Helena.  We are seeking a full-time wine server to join our tasting room team.  We are looking for candidates who are personable, upbeat, and committed to offering a unique High end and luxurious wine tasting experience.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

·       Adhere to business casual to business formal dress code guidelines and always represent our brand professionally.

·       Develop and maintain strong relationships with guests, local hotels, drivers, and the community to enhance our brand reputation and promote visitor engagement.

·       Elevate luxury experience by facilitating comprehensive tours of the property and winemaking facilities.

·       Glass washing/polishing and other similar tasks to maintain tasting room cleanliness

·       Guide guests in wine tastings and provide detailed information about our wines, vineyards, and winemaking processes.

·       Operate the Wine Direct POS system proficiently to process orders and transactions accurately.

·       Schedule guest reservations and assist as necessary to maintain smooth operations.

·       Uphold high standards of customer service and hospitality to exceed guest expectations.

·       Utilize sales skills to promote wine purchases while achieving sales targets.

Compensation:

·       Competitive hourly wage ($30 - $34/hour) plus tips.

Qualifications and Skills:

·       Ability to work in fast-paced environment.

·       Ability to work Thursday – Monday as part of a full-time schedule.

·       Certification in Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) or equivalent wine education preferred.

·       Consistent and reliable.

·       Demonstrate a professional demeanor in all circumstances.

·       Familiarity with Wine Direct POS system or similar point-of-sale software is a plus.

·       Minimum of 2 years of experience in a wine service, bartending or hospitality role.

·       Must be able to work weekends and evenings, some holidays.

·       Must be at least 21 years old.

·       Proven sales ability with a track record of achieving targets in a hospitality or retail environment.

·       Requires the ability to stand for up to 2 hours at a time and to lift 50 lbs.

·       Strong attention to detail and a general commitment to quality in all aspects of work.

·       Strong knowledge of wines, including varietals, regions, and tasting techniques.

·       Willingness to work as a cooperative team member.
