Manufacturing Technician (Medical Device)

Location: Lexington, KY

Pay Rate: $16-18/hour

6-month assignment (potential to convert)

 

The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning, sanitizing, operating, and maintaining process equipment used in the manufacture of sterile nasal spray drug products. Ensure compliance with documentation requirements and maintain cleanliness and organization of manufacturing clean rooms.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain process equipment per Production Batch Records (PBRs).
  • Clean, sanitize, and prepare equipment and manufacturing areas following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Complete production documentation (PBRs, Logbooks, Forms), assist in compiling lot records for QA.
  • Write and update SOPs and Forms accurately.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of manufacturing areas.
  • Assist in training manufacturing team members.
  • Coordinate activities with other departments for manufacturing, calibration, and maintenance.
  • Support validation protocols for equipment.
  • Drive improvement projects for manufacturing or facilities.
  • Participate in routine preventive maintenance, identify cost savings and process improvements.
  • Adhere to cGMPs, SOPs, and Safety policies.

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
  • Experience with sterilization processes or aseptic techniques preferred.
  • Proficient in written communication for SOPs and cGMP documentation.
  • Qualified to handle controlled substances.
  • Experience in a lean, action-oriented organization preferred.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel
