Established in 1997, CU TRANSPORT INC.IS an international Logistics services provider based in City of Industry, CA offering a full suite of Freight Forwarding, NVOCC Ocean LCL/FCL, is looking for enthusiastic, proactive and motivated Sales Leaders (experience preferred but not required)

 

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Must develop new business and work on the retention of existing customer base.
  • Prepare quotations and professional proposals for clients covering a full suite of logistics services.
  • Identify business opportunities that generate revenue growth in both new and existing accounts.
  • Build strategic relationships with key contacts within customer organizations to understand opportunities for creating value.
  • Facilitate regular meetings with clients and relevant operations staff to evaluate performance and receives updates from clients on challenges and future plans.
  • Oversee the development and reporting of competitive market analysis across the Region.
  • Attend and network within industry groups, trade shows and other similar events in an effective manner across the Region.
  • Maintain a high level of expertise and knowledge of services.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have sales experience in the Freight Forwarding industry with a proven track record.
  • Must have knowledge of Import and Export operations.
  • Must exemplify leadership qualities.
  • Must possess strong organizational & time management skills.
  • Must have the ability to prioritize multiple projects and work in a fast pace environment.
  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must possess the ability to make formal presentations on a professional level to key executives and groups of industry experts.
  • Must possess strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Must be willing to travel, as travel will be required both intrastate as well as interstate throughout the 12 state Region.
  • Must have a valid driver license, a dependable automobile and acceptable motor vehicle record.
