Product Quality Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Tier 1 automotive , with empties in product quality , development, and manufacturing. The successful applicant will be responsible for problem solving and relationship building.
Responsibilities:
- Address any die casting, machining, or finishing product issues in-house and with the customer.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product requirements are met.
- Conduct and track progress of all 8D, CAR, PAR reports
- Assist in the process and quality training.
- Develops and directs quality methods and practices
- Visit customers and supplier plants as needed.
- Performs projects and duties as assigned
- Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field OR 5+ years of experience.
- Proficiency in TS16949, HPDC, AQPQ, PPAP.
- Experienced in PAR, CAR, 8Ds.
- Knowledge of factory operations and assembly line processes.
- Familiarity with tooling and schematics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Experience working in a Tier 1 and/or Tier 2 automotive supplier.
