As Front Desk Manager, you will perform duties assigned to you including those identified below:

1. Assign duties and shifts to assigned employees and observe and monitor performances to
ensure adherence to company policies and operating procedures.
2. Cooperate and strategize with other managers to ensure coordination of hotel activities.
3. Answer all inquiries pertaining to hotel policies and services.
4. May patrol public areas, investigate disturbances and warn troublemakers.
5. Responsible for scheduling of the Front Office, Bell Staff and Concierge Departments.
6. May receive and process advance registration payments.
7. Maintain 4-Diamond Standard Operating Procedures and deliver first class service.
8. Assist in achieving budget revenues and expenses, while maximizing profitability related to the
Front Office Department.
9. Develop operational plans for Front Office, Bell Staff and Concierge departments.
10. Increase level of guest satisfaction by delivering an improved product through employee
development and training.
11. Manage compliance with local, state and federal laws and regulations.
12. Manage reservations to maintain highest possible room occupancy and average daily rate
through suggestive selling by employees.
13. Maintain procedures for credit control and financial transactions.
14. Maintain procedures for guest security and emergency procedures.
15. Receive departmental related guest complaints and ensures corrective action is taken.
16. Must be able to work weekends, evenings, overnights and holidays to meet business demands.
17. Will be required to cover shifts at the desk.
18. Will be required to act as Manager on Duty, in the absence of the Operations Manager, or
Director of Operations.
19. Will be required to pursue FSLD certification.
