Cornerstone PEO is looking for a Client Services Representative to join the Client Services team

With Client Services being an essential part of Cornerstone PEO, our ideal candidate would be a people-driven individual who can help support the structure of the Client Services and Payroll department.

The ideal candidate would be responsible for managing client accounts, building relationships with business executives, ensuring payroll processing and actively monitoring account revenue for each assigned client.

This role offers an incredible opportunity to work with experienced individuals in the payroll and PEO industry. This is a remote and salaried position; however, the candidate must have the ability to report to our New Jersey office on an as-needed basis.

 

Role & Responsibilities

  • Oversee timely processing of weekly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly and/or monthly payroll for a portfolio of clients operating in various states.
  • Actively communicate with clients to best understand their processes and overall business goals.
  • Act as a partner to client stakeholders to identify areas for process improvement.
  • Communicate with the internal Cornerstone PEO team to provide exceptional services to accommodate client business needs.
  • Look for changes in client revenue, and work with clients to understand why fluctuations in revenue are occurring.
  • Report revenue changes that may trigger changes to Workers Compensation rates and/or other charges and fees.
  • Notify appropriate managers and teams on non-reporting clients, and/or necessary terminations of non-reporting clients.
  • Participate in weekly company-wide and department meetings.
  • Assist in ad hoc projects.
  • Other duties may be assigned to support the internal team, and PEO services provided to clients.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably within finance, accounting, and/or human resources.
  • A minimum of five years within the payroll and/or PEO industry.
  • Knowledge of federal and state regulations related to Payroll Administration.
  • Excellent communications skills, written and verbal. Strong organization, customer service and time management skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability) compliance standards.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong computer skills including, but not limited to, Excel & Word and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Additional certifications relating to Payroll Administration are a plus.
