Job Summary:

 

We’re looking for a motivated and results-oriented Sales and Business Development Manager to drive new business growth at CLARK. As a key player on our team, you will focus on generating new leads, building relationships, and advocating for clients across all CLARK brands, including Clark Computer Services, Clark Building Technologies, Clark Website Services, and future CLARK-related ventures. This role is ideal for a self-starter with a passion for sales and a strong understanding of the IT industry, eager to contribute to the success of our expanding organization.

 

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

 

In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of client relationships across all our brands, taking on the following duties in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

 

·         New Business Development

o   Identify and pursue new business opportunities across various industries, driving revenue growth for all CLARK brands.

o   Promote and sell CLARK’s comprehensive suite of technology services to clients across various industries.

o   Generate leads through networking, cold-calling, and other outreach methods.

o   Develop and present customized proposals and solutions to potential clients, showcasing CLARK’s comprehensive suite of services.

·         Relationship Management

o   Serve as a client advocate, ensuring their needs are met and their expectations exceeded.

o   Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with new and existing clients.

o   Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring alignment with client goals.

o   Regularly engage with clients to understand their evolving needs and identify additional business opportunities.

·         Sales Strategy and Execution

o   Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop and implement effective sales strategies.

o   Track sales performance metrics and adjust strategies to meet or exceed targets.

o   Maintain a strong understanding of all CLARK services, including IT Managed Services, Low-Voltage Cabling, Security and Surveillance, Website Design, Cybersecurity, and AI solutions.

o   Stay informed about industry trends and advancements to offer clients the most current solutions.

·         Marketing Expansion and Branding

o   Drive CLARK’s brand awareness by attending industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.

o   Represent CLARK in the market, positioning the company as a leader in IT-managed services, low-voltage cabling, website design, cybersecurity, and AI solutions.

o   Provide clients with insights and recommendations on how CLARK’s technology solutions can resolve their business challenges.

·         Customer Service Excellence

o   Ensure that new clients receive “white-glove” service from the first point of contact through the entire business relationship.

o   Proactively identify and resolve potential issues before they impact the client, ensuring a smooth and uninterrupted experience.

 

Required Skills/Abilities:

·         Strong sales and negotiation skills with a proven track record in business development.

·         Proven ability to drive business growth and generate revenue through sales efforts.

·         Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships.

·         Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts simultaneously.

·         Technical knowledge in IT services, website development, and technology solutions is highly desirable.

·         Capability of working with multiple personality types at various skill levels to assess information and deliver informed insights and                    recommendations.

·         Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.

·         Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.

 

Education and Experience:

·         Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.

·         Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, business development, or client services, preferably in the IT or technology sector.

·         Demonstrated success in generating new business and growing client accounts. 

 

Physical Requirements:

·         Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

·         Ability to travel to client sites and industry events as needed.

·         Effectively perform walk-throughs to assess needs and locate opportunities.
