The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex projects within the media sector, demonstrating strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. This role requires a strategic thinker who can oversee project lifecycles from inception to completion, ensuring that all objectives are met within scope, time, and budget constraints.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Management: Develop comprehensive project plans that align with business objectives and stakeholder expectations. Oversee project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Assign tasks, set clear goals, and monitor team performance.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications. Ensure timely and effective communication with stakeholders, including executives, clients, vendors, and team members.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring all resources are allocated efficiently and effectively. Monitor expenses and report on financial performance.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Proactively address issues that may impact project success.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all project deliverables meet the highest quality standards. Implement and oversee quality control processes.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including status reports, meeting minutes, and project plans. Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project progress and performance.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate project processes and methodologies. Identify opportunities for improvement and implement best practices to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of project management experience, preferably in the media and event industry.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Project Management, Media Studies, or a related field. PMP or equivalent certification is highly desirable.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of media production processes and workflows.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
  • Superior organizational and time management skills.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello).
  • Solid understanding of budgeting and financial management.
  • Ability to navigate and resolve conflicts effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is highly desirable.
