Martin is seeking a personable and highly organized Assistant Property Manager to join our team. As Assistant Property Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our Property Management Department. You will work closely with the Property Managers to ensure the efficient management of commercial properties in retail, industrial, office and multifamily including operations and financial expenditures. You will be instrumental in maintaining tenant satisfaction, and providing superior customer service to tenants, vendors and property owners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly and professionally to all tenant needs and requests.
  • Proactively coordinate with maintenance team and/or third-party vendors to resolve tenant-related issues. Communicates promptly all follow up and follow through items to appropriate parties.
  • Work closely with vendors, Martin employees, and sometimes property owners to ensure issues are addressed and objectives are defined and being met. Anticipates and responds to tenant needs and concerns.
  • Complete and coordinate work orders with maintenance and third-party vendors. Prepare accurate and timely reports.
  • Digitally upload all building / tenant communication per company procedures using Yardi property management software.
  • Perform regular janitorial and other inspections of properties as need and directed.
  • Assist and administrate tenant move-ins and move-outs and complete proper paperwork.
  • Code & approve invoices and forward to Accounting in timely fashion.
  • Obtain quotes for repairs and maintenance projects.
  • Ensure timely completion of vendor contracts and agreements.
  • Assist as needed in the administration of expenses and billbacks, and compliance with lease terms, and legal issues.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
