Job Title: Quality Field Engineer 2
Location (On-site, Remote, or Hybrid?): Rensselaer, NY (onsite)
Contract Duration: 8 months
Pay range: $19 - $25 an hour

Job Description:

Summary

  • Responsible for supporting and maintaining in-house audio-visual equipment and non-print media assets.
  • This includes operating, maintaining, distributing, installing, configuring, repairing, and upgrading various electronic products while ensuring their optimal performance.
  • This person will also troubleshoot problem areas in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide end-user training and assistance where required.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and Support Audio Visual communication solutions
  • Set up, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot equipment such as microphones, sound speakers, video screens, projectors, video monitors, recording equipment, connecting wires and cables, sound and mixing boards for events and functions such as meetings, meeting rooms, presentations
  • General hardware break/fix to include diagnostics and troubleshooting to Audio/Visual (AV) equipment
  • Troubleshooting and software issues to maintain business continuity of AV systems
  • Diagnose, and troubleshoot peripheral equipment and handhelds to AV equipment
