At the Pub, we are committed to offering quality food and hospitality as well as an atmosphere catered to watching your favorite game and having a good time. The Library Pub, West Bloomfield, specializes in sports and private parties. We feature over 40 TV screens, great food, local Michigan beer, and a large outdoor patio. Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including managing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining high-quality standards
  • Create and implement effective restaurant policies and procedures
  • Manage inventory, order supplies, and control costs to meet budget goals
  • Train, coach, and motivate staff to provide exceptional service and achieve performance targets
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely food preparation and delivery
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and safety standards in accordance with health regulations

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar role
  • Knowledge of restaurant operations and best practices
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple responsibilities
  • Customer-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality service
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and evenings
  • Familiarity with restaurant management software and POS systems
  • Food handler's certification (preferred)
