Customer Support Representative

JOB DESCRIPTION: CUSTOMER SUPPORT REPRESENTATIVE
PRIMARY JOB FUNCTION:
To provide both proactive and reactive telephone support to diagnose and resolve customer needs for Commercial and Irrigation products as well as allied products. To ensure that the customer’s ownership experience is fully satisfactory and best in class in the judgment of the customer in order to generate the highest sales volume of Professional Turf Products’ products and services.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
§ Provide proactive and reactive support to both internal and external customers
§ Execute up-selling and cross-selling processes
§ Provide pricing and availability in response to customer needs
§ Research and acquire limited availability items for customers
§ Provide training and education to customers
§ Maintain customer information systems
§ Identify documentation required to support customer purchases
§ Work with Accounting department to problem solve customer issues
§ Become proficient in Trend, Toro’s extranet, and Master Parts Viewer
§ Continually develop product knowledge
§ Enter Service Request Orders for customer’s service issues
JOB REQUIREMENTS
§ High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) and or two to four years related experience
§ Must be dependable and trustworthy
§ Bilingual a plus, Spanish and English
§ Strong computer proficiency
§ Solid problem-solving skills
§ Ability to communicate effectively with others using written and oral communications
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
§ This position requires walking, sitting, bending and the ability to climb on or around equipment
§ Lifting of 50 lbs.
