About the Job

The AV Manager is a fast-paced high-profile position within the organization. It is comprised of 2 main functions.

1. Maintenance: The role of AV Manager is to ensure operation of audio-visual equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements, maintaining rental inventory, and maintaining technical knowledge. It is crucial to maintain an organized stock room and equipment files.

2. Shipping & Receiving: Our equipment travels to conferences to be installed into our client booths. In this role you will be responsible for packing and shipping all needed AV components for the booth and event. This includes but it not limited to Monitors, Speakers, Touch screens, wires and cording, stands brackets. You will be responsible for the installation and break down of technology on the job site,

 

Preferred Education & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Technology Field with 3-5 years of experience working in an Audio-Visual Department utilizing multiple technologies.

Excellent customer skills proven through demonstrated ability to interact and assist others.

Portrays a polished professional image to meet company code and requirements.

Must be able to travel and accommodate a rotating work schedule to include nights, weekends and holidays.

Technology Skills

  • Seamless Wall: Must be able to understand how to set it up, configure and calibrate the screens, be able to format content for best image possible.
  • VLC Video player: Must know how to navigate menus and play content.
  • Dataton Watchout video playback: Must be able to load videos, configure proper formats for screens and create a timeline. Must have an understanding of networking the Watchout computers for proper flow of video content.
  • LED Display: Must be able to understand how to set it up, configure and calibrate the screens, be able to format content for best image possible.
