Fast-paced Iselin N.J. law firm, whose practice centers on various aspects of municipal/public entity law is seeking a motivated, full-time (9am-5pm), administrative assistant to assist litigation, real estate and municipal practice attorneys. We are in search of a team player who is a self-starter, has strong organizational and communication skills as well as attention to detail.
This position will involve tasks such as assisting attorneys in all aspects of litigation, mail management, assisting with phone coverage, faxing/scanning documents, calendar management, organization and management of files as well as drafting, formatting and editing letters/documents. Candidate must be a professional, have excellent written/verbal communication and computer skills, and be willing to handle various office duties on an as needed basis.
Job Requirements:
- 5+ years of litigation experience;
- 1-5 years of real estate experience;
- Familiarity with procedures of Courts;
- Knowledge of e-filing in both State and Federal Courts
- Highly proficient in MS Office applications such as Outlook, MS Word and Excel;
- Must have high degree of initiative in managing multiple priorities;
- Time management skills; and
- Strong attention to detail.
