Job Title: Purchasing Clerk
Pay Rate: $18.00/hr W2
Job Description:
The primary responsibility of this role is to process orders using the NetSuite ERP system efficiently and accurately. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of order entry processes, excellent data entry skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross- functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Order Entry: Accurately enter and process orders into the NetSuite ERP system. Verify order details to ensure accuracy. Ensure that all required information is complete and compliant with company policies.
- Communication: Collaborate with all teams to clarify order specifications and resolve any discrepancies. Communicate with the warehouse team to confirm order details and address any issues or questions.
- Order Status Monitoring: Proactively address any issues or delays in order processing. Provide timely updates to customers regarding the status of their orders.
- Data Maintenance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer and order information in the NetSuite system. Assist in data clean-up and validation to ensure the integrity of order data.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the warehouse and logistics teams to facilitate smooth order fulfillment. Collaborate with other departments to resolve order-related issues and improve processes.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct regular reviews of order entries to identify and correct errors. Implement quality control measures to minimize order processing discrepancies.
- Inventory Management Assist with reviewing inventory levels to determine when new orders are needed. Coordinate with off-site locations on inventory movements.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in order entry using NetSuite ERP or a similar system (preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
- Basic understanding of inventory management concepts (preferred).
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications are a plus.
