What You'll Do:
- Responsible for the development of various types of physician agreements and other agreements in a wide variety of specialties under the supervision of an attorney.
- Carried out using templates and a contract life cycle workflow system.
- The Contract Specialist – Physician Development will collaborate with other team members including operational leaders and department colleagues.
- Serves as a primary contact with medical group administration and operators to understand the medical group lines of business and what type of professional services agreements, physician practice acquisition agreements, and physician employment agreement or other type of agreement is needed.
- Uses the applicable existing template agreements to create medical group physician related agreements.
- Communicates with attorneys and other stakeholders regarding status of legal negotiations and documents.
- Understands the corporate compliance review workflow; software program(s); where documents reside in the contract management system; and the life cycle of contract initiation, development, completion, and execution.
- Implements changes to contract development processes and templates.
- Completes development of requested contracts and uploads executed contracts into the contract management system.
- Organizes and maintains contract files and database contents to track contracts and related documents. Is an Agiloft Contract Manager.
- Provides training as needed to medical group team members and other colleagues.
- Performs all functions effectively, efficiently, as directed, and with respect to colleagues and stakeholders.
- Collaborates with Legal team members and other applicable departments (e.g., Corporate Responsibility, Tax, Risk Management) to ensure effective contract development.
- Develops and maintains strategic relationships with internal stakeholders.
- Participate and conduct new leadership training regarding contracting process, compliance process and Agiloft.
- Support projects as an Agiloft Contract Manager in the company’s Contract Lifecycle Management software.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Bring:
- Paralegal experience a huge plus.
- Must be detail-oriented and have contract experience.
- 4-year bachelor’s degree or associate degree in a legal field is required.
- 5-years’ experience as a paralegal or related work experience is preferred
- Advanced skills using Microsoft Office programs is preferred.
- Preferred Licensure, Certification:
- Paralegal certificate.
- Project management certificate.
- Knowledge and Skills Required:
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and excellent writing and proofreading skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Proficiency with a contract workflow and repository system.
- Ability to learn quickly and commit to process improvement and customer satisfaction.
- Self-motivator, quick thinker.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Hours M-F 8-5 and 40 hours per week.
