We are currently seeking an experienced Contract Specialist Responsibilities Drafting, reviewing, and interpreting various client contract agreements including non-disclosure agreements, master service agreements, and large engineering services contracts. Negotiating the terms and conditions within client contracts, non-disclosure agreements, joint venture agreements, etc. Working with clients in a professional manner. Establishing rapport and working relationships with high levels of management. Performing special assignments or projects as required. This position allows for a hybrid work schedule with a mix of work spent in our downtown Chicago office and working remotely from home. Qualifications Bachelor's degree, with a preference for a business, insurance, engineering, or law. 7+ years of experience with drafting and negotiating of legal contract terms and conditions. 7+ years of experience with contract reviews; including the interpretation and analyzation of concepts to align our corporate risk profile. Detail oriented, schedule driven, and well-organized with strong ability to manage numerous projects and conflicting demands in a fast-paced environment. Ability to make administrative/procedural decisions. Ability to make educated judgement calls, solve problems, and take initiatives necessary to perform job functions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, confidently, and professionally within all levels of the company regarding complex issues. Knowledgeable regarding corporate insurance programs within professional services, engineering, and/or construction industries. Flexibility and willingness to work on a broad variety of contractual matters. Team player and self-starter with ability to complete projects on schedule. Federal Government contracting knowledge is a plus. May be required to travel on an occasional basis. We do not sponsor employees for work authorization in the U.S. for this position.
