Position and Duties. During a candidate’s employment he will serve in the position of Field Sales/Service Rep. We are a dealer for a major drill manufacturer. We sell and service their product line of hydraulic drill rigs, they include top hammer and DTH machine. We are also a dealer for their water well drill rigs as well. Also, we are a dealer for an Italian line of drills. Below is a list of duties and responsibilities of the Field Service Technician, they include but are not limited to the following.
• Obtain new service accounts and maintain relationship with current service customers.
• Provide product support including research and resolve customer issues through both face-to-face and phone interaction. Troubleshoot and perform service work in the shop and on site as needed. A strong electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic background is required. Candidate will be responsible for furnishing a complete set of hand tools, the Company will supply any specialty tools that are required.
• Promote sales of new and used equipment.
• Build and maintain relations within the company to ensure effective communication for sales and customer service.
• Travel and overnight stay will be required with this position.
Compensation Package. Compensation will be based on the candidate’s level of experience. Pay will be paid at an hourly rate bi-weekly. This is a full-time position with overtime as needed.
Work Related Benefits. In addition to the hourly compensation, the Company will provide work-related benefits to assist you with your duties and responsibilities. A company vehicle, cell phone, computer, company credit card and laundered uniforms will be provided to assist you in your job duties.
Benefits. Candidate will be eligible for participation in the Company’s Health Insurance Program on the first of the month after one month of continuous full-time employment following your date of hire. Additionally, the candidate will be eligible to participate in the Company sponsored 401(k) plan after six months of continuous full-time employment. The Company also offers paid time off, which includes 10 vacation days and 6 personal days along with 7 paid holidays.
