Experienced DO-254 Hardware Verification Engineer
Key Responsibilities
• Program management experience
• Experience working with Customers and Suppliers
• Systems validation & verification
• Customer interaction
• Project oversight

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering.
o B.S. in Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical, or Computer Engineering or a related degree
o 2+ years of Requirements Based Verification per DO-178, DO-254, or ARP4754
o Design experience/knowledge with ASIC, FPGA, CPLD technologies
o Experience with LabView and Python
o Experience with NI PXIe Chassis/Cards
o Experience with DAQ hardware like National Instruments or Speedgoat
o Experience with automated testers and formal acceptance testing
o Experience documenting test environments and test results
o Experience with communication buses like RS232, RS422, CAN, ARINC429, etc.
o Experience with DO-160, MIL-STD-810, or equivalent qualification testing
o Experience in a production environment either aerospace, medical, or industrial
o Ability to influence others and lead small teams
o Strong oral and written communication skills
o Familiarity with Engine Controls Units, Requirement Traceability, Team Center, and Doors.
o Beneficial to have knowledge of Honeywell Engine products like TFE731 and HTF7K

Key Responsibilities
o Drive the technical strategy and coordination for the DO-254 Validation and Verification for ASICs
o Support / contribution to creation of cohesive project plans
o Create requirements-based test cases, test procedures and execute on-target verification tests on airborne electronic hardware
o Develop automated test tools in LabView/Python
o Coordinate with hardware and software development teams to design test setups for DO-254 hardware validation and verification.
o Assist with the troubleshooting and debugging of test cases, test procedures, LabView software, Embedded Software and test equipment.
o Use standard lab probing and troubleshooting test equipment
o Execute automated test scripts and troubleshoot issues
o Document test results with clarity and attention to detail
