Job Description

Arrow ECS is seeking a highly skilled Senior Hardware Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and debugging complex hardware systems with FPGA, microprocessor, and DSP components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement high-speed data interfaces, including Ethernet, PCIe, USB, LVDS, SERDES, and other interfaces.
  • Perform board-level debugging of hardware and FPGA, identifying and resolving issues related to high-speed interfaces, power integrity, and signal integrity.
  • Ensure hardware systems comply with SOSA standards and collaborate closely with software and systems engineers for seamless integration.
  • Analyze and understand FPGA schematics and glue logic, coordinating with FPGA engineers to address board-level issues.
  • Manage the entire circuit card design lifecycle, including requirements capture, schematic design, component selection, signal integrity analysis, simulations, and thermal analysis.
  • Stay informed on emerging high-speed digital design technologies and apply innovations to improve system designs.
Requirements
  • Debugging with FPGA and using FPGA Tools.
  • Familiarity with High-Speed Interfaces - Ethernet, PCIe, LVDS, SERDES, etc.
  • Sensor Open Systems Architecture.
  • Collaboration Skills with Cross Functional Teams.
  • Experience with circuit card design - Schematics, PCB Layout, SI, Simulation, Timing analysis.
  • Ability to create and execute test plans, perform root cause analysis, and conduct hardware testing.
