About the Role

At Blue Origin, we're working to develop reusable, safe, and low-cost space vehicles and systems within a culture of safety, collaboration, and inclusion. As part of our In-Space Systems business unit, we're focused on development, manufacturing, and operation of satellite systems to address one of the most compelling challenges in spaceflight today: space mobility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop mixed signal electrical circuitry and integrate our innovative Optical Communications Terminal enabling flexible high-data rate deep space optical communication links for various spaceflight systems.
  • Share in the team's impact on all aspects of development, manufacturing, and operation of satellite systems to address one of the most compelling challenges in spaceflight today: space mobility.
  • Apply technical expertise, leadership skills, and dedication to quality to positively impact safe human spaceflight.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Breadth of understanding in electronics hardware development, including developing sophisticated circuit cards, consumer electronics, wireless devices, or other electronic commercial or aerospace products.
  • Experience designing analog, high-speed digital, or mixed-signal circuits, including analysis, simulation, test, problem-solving, and part selection.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master of Science in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related fields.
  • 10+ years of experience in design, development, and test.
  • Validated experience developing for software-defined radios or modems.
