Office Manager Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee front office and administrative functions, managing or supporting subordinates as needed.
- Collaborate with manufacturing management on staffing, training, and HR activities for all departments including researching and implementing health insurance / benefit plans.
- Streamline office operations and procedures, including purchasing, personnel management, information management, and clerical services.
- Enhance office productivity through effective use of relevant software applications.
- Research and implement resources that improve front office workflow efficiency and timeliness.
- Coordinate and lead weekly department team meetings in collaboration with management teams.
- Support Quality Management System, Shipping, Purchasing, and other general office responsibilities with proactive measures.
- Prepare reports and documents for full participation in scheduled company meetings.
- Handle payroll and timekeeping documentation, addressing employee inquiries related to timekeeping and benefits.
- Review and support order entry processes (this role will not be responsible for data entry unless filling in for someone on PTO).
- Plan and organize employee events, including monthly team-building lunches and gatherings.
- Provide monthly updates to management on the operational status and progress of the front office and its various programs and activities.
Office Manager Key Traits Needed:

- Self-motivated and capable of working independently
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask effectively while staying calm under pressure
Office Manager Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field OR extensive relevant experience preferred
- Proven experience in office management or a similar role
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in office software and technology
- Knowledge of Manufacturing processes is a plus
- HR knowledge
- Experience working with vendor contracts (plus)
