The Admissions Coordinator aids in individual admission and referrals


Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday


Specific Areas of Responsibility:

  • Answer and convert admissions calls.
  • Evaluates individuals prior to admission to treatment and as appropriate makes outside referrals for those who are not.
  • Coordinates admission with Director of Admissions, CEO, Clinical Director, and
    Medical Staff.
  • Identify and develop referral services.
  • Participates in establishing and maintaining liaison with courts, probation departments, attorney, and business/industry.
  • Performs other tasks as directed.
  • Verification of insurance benefits.
  • Performs intakes with new admissions.
  • Performs Pre-Admission assessment

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1 year experience in substance abuse
    preferred.
