OVERVIEW:

  • As a Sales Territory Manager (TM), you will serve as a crucial link between our company and our clients, responsible for establishing and maintaining valuable business relationships within your designated territory. The TM role requires a "Road Warrior" mentality, with extensive travel expected (4-5 days per week), to ensure maximum coverage and engagement with clients. You will collaborate closely with the Outside Sales team to introduce our products and services, driving growth and profitability within your assigned territory.

 
RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Travel extensively within the designated territory to meet with existing and potential clients, showcasing our products and services
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets and objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships through regular communication and face-to-face meetings
  • Identify new business opportunities and market trends within the territory, providing feedback to the sales and marketing teams
  • Collaborate with the Outside Sales team to coordinate sales efforts, ensuring a cohesive approach in delivering value to clients
  • Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts, reports, and updates to management, detailing territory performance and opportunities
  • Stay informed about industry developments, competitor activities, and market changes to adapt sales strategies accordingly
  • Participate in trade shows, conferences, and other industry events to promote our products and expand our network

 
QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, or related field (preferred)
  • Proven track record of success in B2B sales, with at least [X years] of experience in a similar role
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills, capable of identifying and capitalizing on market opportunities
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a demonstrated ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
  • Willingness to travel extensively and work flexible hours, as required by the demands of the role
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
