Summary/Objective

Holmatro Incorporated, a leading rescue tool manufacturer, is seeking a Business Systems Manager specializing in ERP systems, processes, and controls. The position will be responsible for managing the ERP and connecting applications while working closely with cross-functional team leads to ensure application and process optimization within the manufacturing industry. The Business Systems Manager will also be responsible for managing local hardware and IT security needs.

 

Essential Functions

  • Serve as business partner to all departments, appropriately convey and train technical information to general audiences. Ensure ongoing communication to enhance day-to-day functions within the ERP.
  • Responsible for overall ERP strategy execution including, but not limited to:  
  • Monitor performance and security, ensuring data integrity and system reliability.
  • Maintain, optimize, test, troubleshoot, and diagnose root cause issues.
  • Develop and implement software improvements to enhance business processes through cross function collaboration.
  • Ensure timely implementation of software upgrades and modifications leveraging support from external vendors and leading internal testing
  • Create and maintain documentation related to ERP system configurations, processes, and procedures.
  • Provide training and support to staff on ERP system usage and best practices.
  • Develop dashboards and reports for department users and management teams.
  • Manage customizations and related update validation process.
  • Oversee and maintain system configurations and related hardware. Areas include onsite servers, user hardware inventory, security system, telephone and WiFi package, and printers.
  • Respond to and assist with local hardware needs.
  • Assist with global IT team applying network security patches to servers and network appliances.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Skills

  • B.A or B.S. degree in Business Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science or other related IT field
    • In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, a high school diploma/GED and a minimum of 5 years of business systems experience will be considered.
  • Experience supporting ERP systems in Manufacturing and/or Distribution sector including knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and querying concepts
  • 3+ years applicable experience developing applications, dashboards, and reports for Infor CloudSuite Industrial (CSI/SyteLine) ERP, version 9.01 or higher, with Mongoose and Intelligent Data Objects (IDO)
  • Experience with Infor ERP suites, preferably CSI and LN Cloud + Factory Track
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 + Office 365, Microsoft Active Directory & Entra, Familiarity with programming principles and basic IP networking concepts including VLANs and QOS

 

Supervisory Responsibility

This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

 

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

 

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.  They must have the ability to lift, carry or move IT hardware related items up to 30 lbs.  Bending, kneeling and stooping while setting up equipment is occasionally necessary.

 

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time, on-site position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the “core” work hours of 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This position may work occasional Saturdays or Sundays for system uplifts and general troubleshooting.

 

Travel

This position does not require travel.
