Job Title: Business Analyst

ANGARAI is seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our team. As a Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in the successful delivery of projects by developing trust and respect through collaboration with business stakeholders, project team members, and peers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate and/or participate in the IT project review process in cooperation with other business analysts, IT project managers, and other staff.
  • Develop project feasibility and cost-benefit analysis reports to assist an IT Steering Committee in determining whether a project should proceed.
  • Work with the assigned Project Manager to transition a Service Request from concept through preliminary planning to formal approval.
  • Participate in project teams for new systems, including requirements development and management, and business process analysis.
Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical discipline.
  • A Master's Degree is preferred.
  • Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) from International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA).
  • At least 8 years of computer experience working independently or under general direction on complex application problems involving all phases of systems analysis.
  • At least 5 years of experience in analysis and design of business applications for complex, large-scale or mid-tier computer systems or LAN-based systems.
  • Experience in working with Microsoft Office Suite, including Visio and Project.
  • Knowledge of current storage and retrieval methods and demonstrated ability to formulate specifications for computer programmers to use in coding, testing, and debugging of computer programs.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of IT software requirements elicitation, documentation, and management.
  • Experience with financial document and human resources management or procurement management software.
  • Prior senior-level experience preparing business cases or other types of requests for IT software development.
  • Prior senior-level experience writing project deliverables, such as a functional requirements document or a requirements traceability matrix.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of business process/workflow automation.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of performing gap analyses.
  • Prior experience planning and conducting IT software quality assurance testing, including writing test cases.
  • Prior experience preparing and delivering informative, well-organized presentations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Breadth of knowledge in the Business Analyst Body of Knowledge (BABOK).

Education: Graduate, MBA Preferred.
