We are a successful, growing, hospital-based Medical Management company looking for the perfect candidate who is dedicated to teamwork and operational excellence.
The Hospital Based Medical Staff Coordinator is responsible for managing the credentialing and privileging process for all Radiologists hired to provide radiology services for our Healthcare Client Organizations. This includes overseeing the initial application process, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards. The Medical Staff Coordinator will work closely with our Operations team, physicians, and administrative staff to ensure the smooth functioning of the credentialing office.
Responsibilities:- Manage the credentialing process for Radiologists, including initial applications, reappointments, and changes in privileges- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for all Radiologists including licensure, certifications, and training- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and accreditation requirements- Coordinate with department heads, physicians, and hospital administration to collect required documentation and resolve any issues or discrepancies- Serve as a liaison between medical physicians and hospital administration- Provide support and guidance to physicians regarding credentialing and privileging requirements- Stay current on industry trends and best practices related to medical staff credentialing and privileging
Qualifications:- Experience in hospital based healthcare administration- Must have previous experience in credentialing, healthcare administration, and medical licensing including: IMLC, FSMB, CAQH- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and other computer software programs- Knowledge of Joint Commission standards related to medical staff credentialing
