We are seeking a Full Time Field Service Technician with Excellent Electro-Mechanical Equipment experience to repair and maintain binding and lamination and various paper handling machines as well as specialty printing equipment in Arizona. This position is in an indoor environment. Mainly in Phoenix and Tucson, but the position will be required to travel to other AZ cities as required.

Below you will find the necessary duties this Lead Field Service Technician will be responsible for as well as the basic requirements necessary to perform this role. It is imperative that the Field Service Technician have both Electrical and Mechanical Equipment experience.

Our ideal candidate is someone who may have recently been discharged from the military, or has experience with Copy Machine Repair, or other office or electro-mechanical devices. HVAC techs are also encouraged to apply.

Duties and Responsibilities: (include but are not limited to the following):
- The Field Service Technician will respond to customer requests for repair and perform scheduled maintenance of equipment to high standards and to the satisfaction of customers.

- The Field Service Technician will be expected to promote service contracts, accessories and will be paid commissions on everything sold.

- The Field Service Technician will be expected to provide leads back to our sales team when units are non-repairable, end of life and in need of upgrade.

- The Field Service Technician is issued all of the tools and training necessary to inspect, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical components of our binding, laminating, document finishing, and paper handling equipment.

- We provide a laptop computer, cell phone, company credit card for expenses and the tools to perform this job. Technical Training on the equipment will be done in our office and at our various manufacturer locations as needed. Training may require out of state travel paid for by the company.

We desire an individual that is flexible, and can work on multiple tasks. We are a small fast paced company and our candidate will need to fit into our culture and take on a lead position within our service department.

- 2+ years of experience in the service repair of electro-mechanical equipment is desired but will train the right individual. Previous binding, laminating or print machinery experience is highly desired. Must be able to read schematic diagrams and understand basic troubleshooting terminology.

- Must be able to use common hand tools, as well as common test equipment such as voltmeters, temperature probes, and various other test devices.

-Field Experience is desired we will train the right candidate.

-High School Diploma is required.

-A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is a mandatory requirement. Must be willing and able to drive our company van on a daily basis.

-Must be able to lift 60 pounds on a regular basis.

-Excellent customer service, communication, and time management skills are necessary for success in this position.

-Must have professional presence, appearance, and ability to effectively communicate and interact with customers both via telephone and email.


- Must be able to pass Arizona DPS Fingerprint Check as required by our customers.

-Minimal overnight travel necessary.

-Local candidates - No relocation assistance will be provided.

Salary Information:

Range will be $22 - $27 per hour and will be determined by experience. Additional compensation will be paid in the form of lead referral payment, commissions on sales of service agreements and accessories, and quarterly bonuses based on customer satisfaction and total service revenue.
