Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Production Supervisor/Manager at TARGETTI USA in Costa Mesa, CA. The Production Supervisor/Manager will be responsible for supervising production schedules, planning production activities, managing production processes, and ensuring effective communication within the team.

Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to: 
  • Maintain general overall workflow through production to provide steady work environment for production employees; ensure continuous production, lesser work-in-progress and minimization of wastages.
  • Day to Day production focused on completing orders during their assigned week to meet customers expected ship date.
  • Oversee workforce of hourly employees.
  • Maintain the required quality of all products and ensure orders are accurate. 
  • Assist Shipping Department as needed with packing and shipping requirements as needed.
  • Maintain clean and organized floor areas in Receiving, Recycled Materials, Trash and Parking Lot Areas.
  • Strong collaboration and partnership with other core team members to solve cross functional problems.
  • Develop your knowledge of Targetti and Targetti products; sources include spec sheets, company website and long-term staff. 
  • SOP Generation and Maintenance of Standardized Operating Procedures (SOPs). 
Additional tasks include but are not limited to: 
  • Train and certify new employees for operating a Class III Forklift. Ensure yourself and all employees remain complaint.
  • Assist in employee recruitment, performance evaluation, promotion, retention, and termination activities.
  • Manage and evaluate direct resources to ensure high productivity levels.
  • Identify and present plans to reduce expenses and increase productivity across product lines
  • Release, conduct, and maintain list of materials to be included in weekly Cycle Count operations.
  • Inventory Management.
  • Work with planning on inventory issues the affect production schedule.
  • Manage receiving processing, confirmation, and quality of all received Inventory Items. Includes entry of receivers into SAP system.
  • Utilize ERP systems for all inventory tracking, shipping, receiving, creation of documents, and internal communication.
  • Crosstrain with your department members. 
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years experience working in architectural lighting industry.
  • Supervisory Skills and Production Management
  • Production Schedules and Production Planning
  • Strong Communication skills
  • Experience in production management or related field
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality standards
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
