Job Overview

Under the guidance of the Store Manager, the Refrigeration Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the refrigeration department's daily functions and ensuring optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications

Any combination equivalent to the following:

Education:
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. certificate.
Experience:
  • Prior experience in refrigeration or a related field.
Skills:
  • Ability to organize and manage departmental operations.
  • Foster a positive work environment and encourage teamwork.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and team members.
  • Prepare and oversee departmental budgets.
  • Order products to ensure competitive pricing and quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Select, train, and evaluate team members.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures.
Physical Requirements
  • Lift refrigerated products frequently throughout the day.
  • Transport items within a maximum distance of 10 feet.
  • Operate carts and dollies for product movement.
Special Requirements
  • Availability to work various shifts as necessary.
  • Flexibility to work across multiple store locations as needed.
