Job Responsibilities:
- Generate reports detailing accounts payable status and aging.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures and timely payment of invoices.
- Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.
- Set up new vendors in the accounting system.
- Receive, review, and verify invoices for accuracy and proper documentation.
- Communicate with vendors to resolve discrepancies, answer inquiries, and handle payment issues.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- HS Diploma required, Associate's/Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience as an accounts payable specialist or similar role
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel) and accounting software's
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable principles, accounting standards, and industry regulations.
- Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.
- High degree of attention to detail.
