Civil Project Engineer

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree (B.A., P.E.) in Civil Engineering or Construction Management from a four-year college, technical school, or university preferred.
- Up to two years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A minimum of 1-3 years of project engineer experience in heavy civil/highway construction.
- A minimum of 1-3 years of bridge construction experience.
- A minimum of 1-3 years of experience working on major highway projects, including bridges, concrete paving, and heavy traffic.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Familiarity with field concepts, practices, and procedures related to highway construction.
- Proven ability to build relationships, communicate effectively at all levels of the organization, and lead through influence to drive change and deliver positive outcomes.
- Commitment to valuing and incorporating contributions from diverse backgrounds.
- Self-motivated, able to work with limited supervision, and a strong team player.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and strong time-management skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work well under pressure, meeting tight, multiple, and sometimes conflicting deadlines.
- Ability to set priorities and multitask effectively.
- Strategic thinker with sound judgment and resourcefulness.
