Our client located in Pottstown within the financial services industry is looking to hire an Administrative Assistant. This position will be working from the office. The hours are M to Th 8:30 to 4:30 and Friday’s 8 to 4

Position Summary

Coordinates sales office general business activities for themselves, President and VP of Sales, and other administrative/data entry activities for the company. Position is 40 hours per week in office. This is NOT a remote or hybrid position. Full-time benefits are included. Salary is $22-$25 per hour based on education, experience, and skills.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Provide administrative support to President, Vice President of Sales and Operations Department.
  • Answer phone calls and respond to emails so that the lines of communication remain open with clients in a timely, efficient, outgoing, personable, and professional manner.
  • Provide support to the organization and its customers by processing, and communicating information timely via phone and email; initiating required action in response to customer requests relating to accounts, products, and processes.
  • Send e-mails for holiday hour announcements, company announcements, etc.
  • Maintain CRM and various other platforms
  • Print reports and enter into General Ledger
  • Develop good rapport with customers.
  • Gain industry and organizational knowledge through daily business interactions and job assignments and maintain knowledge of company products.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • two years of relevant workplace experience
  • Comfortable working independently, multitasking, and handling multiple requests from different individuals and departments and be able to prioritize them.
  • Open to working in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to set priorities and workflow to accomplish day-to-day tasks in a timely manner.
  • The ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems.
  • Goal-oriented with the ability to plan and execute.
  • Possess ability to be self-driven and motivated. Must have superior organizational skills, including attention to detail and accuracy, and superior written and verbal communication skills.
  • Eagerness to grow professionally and ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and Windows based applications. Knowledge of SAGE a plus.
