Peoria's largest private music school is looking for a part-time Evening Office Staff/ Office Manager. No music education or experience is required. We prefer someone with experience in restaurants, hospitality, hotels, catering, banking, medical, any fast paced and hard working customer experience. 

If you're looking for a management position that is not covered in corporate red tape, but instead a locally owned small business with values and a leader in the arts community, this is the right position for you 

We are looking for someone that loves people, kids and is dedicated to doing their best at their job. It doesn't hurt if you love to listen to music, but you do not need to be able to play it :). 

 Hours could range 12:00pm- 8:30 p.m. Monday- Fridays. Saturday 9am-3pm.  You must be able to work weekends, or even every other weekend. 

This is an evening position. If you cannot work evenings do not apply

‘JOB DUTIES: 

-Being trained in all aspects of running the music schools. 

-Answering phones (We're looking for the GOLDEN VOICE, that sounds amazing on the phone with a great tone and excitement for our customers. If anyone has told you, that your voice should be on the radio, we're looking for you).

 -Great memory with ability to remember lots of details. Forgetful types please do not apply. This job has a lot of moving parts. If you get bored easily, you will not get bored here

 -An ability to sell themselves as well as our services. Looking for someone with a great personality that is a people person. 

-If you hate sales, please do not apply. Selling our school on the phone to potential clients is one of the most important parts of this position. 

-Registering clients -Processing paperwork 

-Cleaning

 -Communicating with teachers, staff and clients.

 -Selling minimal retail / supplies at the desk. -Interacting with customers Ideal qualifications and experience: 

-Restaurant, Hospitality, Hotels, any experience having to do with intense customer service. -Phone customer support 

-Bank teller -Retail -Shipping center 

-Medical office 

-Salon Any experience with a lot of face to face interaction with the public.  

 -Supervising a teachers and their schedules 

-Consistent attendance. 

-Putting out customer service fires.

-Achieving monthly sales goals. 

-Achieving monthly client retention goals. 

-Helping with marketing. 

-Assisting in growing our enrollment.

-Communicating with contractors. 

-Being available for continuing ed.

-Good with Microsoft office and Google products

 -Great phone skills 

-Ability to work alone 

-Ability to multi task and keep up with lots of details 

-Manage a fast paced environment
