Restaurant Depot. a national wholesale restaurant supplier is seeking experienced candidates for Assistant Manager for our upcoming Tulsa, OK location. Preferred candidate should have minimum of 3-5 years experience in a similar level capacity in a high volume retail or big box environment. Must be a multi-tasking individual with excellent communication skills with knowledge in the areas of inventory control, P & L, budgeting, merchandising, employee development, recruitment, and human resource-related issues. Must be a self-starter and able to manage a large staff (60+). Food service knowledge a big plus. Customer Service skills are essential in this position as you will be interacting with business customers throughout the day. We are a wholesale operation and not open to the public. Salary commensurate with experience, plus benefits, 401k plan, and bonus plan.

- Monitor and ensure accurate execution of processes to meet operational goals, considering the challenges of cold storage.

- Provide guidance and coaching to address performance issues and ensure professional growth.
3. Performance Analysis:
- Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and evaluate the distribution center's productivity and efficiency in a cold storage context.
- Identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement, and develop action plans accordingly.
4. Inventory Management:
- Collaborate with the Logistics team to manage inventory levels, monitor stock movement, and reduce carrying costs, taking into account the challenges of cold storage.
5. Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines, especially within the unique cold storage environment.
- Promote a safe working environment by enforcing proper safety protocols and conducting regular safety training.
6. Process Improvement:
- Continuously seek opportunities to enhance operational efficiency, accuracy, and customer service within a cold storage context.
- Implement best practices, technology solutions, and automation to drive process improvements.
