Our boutique financial services firm is looking for a Staff Accountant/Bookeeper to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain QuickBooks Desktop and Online accounts for multiple clients.
  • Prepare and distribute monthly financial statements to firm clients.
  • Reconcile bank and balance sheet accounts.
  • Pay bills using Bill.com, credit cards and checks.
  • Communicate with clients using Outlook.
  • Prepare tax packages for firm clients.
  • Communicate with outside tax preparers.
  • Run payroll using QuickBooks and process payroll taxes.
  • Assist with year-end reports including preparation of 1099s and W-2s.

​Qualifications:

  • Basic accounting knowledge.
  • Experience using QuickBooks Online or Desktop.
  • Intermediate Excel skills.
  • Detail and deadline-oriented.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong computer skills including Windows, Outlook and Teams.
  • Working knowledge of tax preparation helpful.
