This is an opportunity to enter the exciting and lucrative area of OT (operational technology) cyber security. In RubyComm, we develop unique devices to protect connected employees and industrial equipment from cyber-security attacks. We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated B2B Software Sales Rep to join RubyComm Inc., starting with a part-time contractor that may be expanded to full time, formal employment in the future. This is a base salary and commission-based role, offering substantial earning potential for high-performing individuals. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in technology B2B sales. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying and opening sales opportunities, building strong customer relationships, and achieving sales targets. Position is mostly remote with occasional meetings at the Burlington MA office.  Candidate must be a US citizen.

 Responsibilities

·        Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify, qualify, and develop new sales opportunities through various channels including cold calling, emails, social media, and networking.

·        Sales Presentations: Conduct product presentations to prospective customers, mostly on-line, showcasing the value and benefits of RubyComm products.

·        Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their technology and business needs.

·        Sales Cycle Management: Manage the entire sales process from initial contact to closing deals, ensuring timely follow-ups and effective communication to achieve sales targets.

·        Market Awareness: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify new business opportunities and provide feedback to the product development team.

·        Reporting and Analysis: Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system, and provide regular reports on sales performance and pipeline status to management.

·        Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, product, and customer support teams to ensure a seamless customer experience and drive continuous improvement in sales strategies and processes.

 

Requirements

·        Technology sales experience required (preferably in the industrial or utility sectors).

·        Strong understanding of the B2B sales process and customer journey.

·        Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

·        Proficiency in using CRM software and sales tools.

·        Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

·        Goal-oriented with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

·        Proactive, highly motivated and self-driven.

·      Experience in sales using cold calling
