Job Overview

As a Retail Sales Representative, you will be an integral part of a skilled team that embodies the essence of Lands' End.

Your role is to deliver outstanding service to customers in a professional, courteous, and helpful manner. This position enhances customer experiences and drives profitable sales through product knowledge and advanced selling techniques. Retail Sales Representatives also play a key role in maintaining store and visual brand standards. This is a part-time position, approximately 25 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Boost sales by employing approved consultative selling techniques to assess customer needs and provide suitable solutions; this may involve recommending outfitting options and related items to encourage multiple unit sales, offering fitting room assistance, and engaging in customer outreach initiatives.
  • Deliver the highest level of customer service, including greeting customers warmly, adjusting individual attention based on store traffic, and suggesting solutions tailored to customer interests and needs.
  • Maintain familiarity with the Lands' End website navigation and utilize this resource for customer solutions when products are unavailable in-store.
  • Efficiently process customer transactions using the POS and online systems, including sales, returns, and exchanges, in accordance with authorized procedures.
  • Stay informed about Lands' End products and services, as well as current fashion trends, to enhance customer service and drive sales.
  • Execute markdowns and other promotional activities as required.
  • Oversee stock replenishment and ensure adherence to visual brand standards.

Qualifications:

  • Exceptional selling abilities.
  • Effective communication skills with customers and team members.
  • Willingness to accept feedback and take appropriate action.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and meet project deadlines.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to change.
  • Knowledge of Lands' End merchandise is highly preferred.
  • Previous retail experience is strongly preferred.
  • Availability and flexibility to work varied hours to meet business needs.
  • Capability to stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift boxes weighing up to 40 pounds.
