A New York single-family office is seeking a Human Resources generalist to take point on key personnel-oriented issues.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Benefits administration and payroll processing
  •  Developing, reviewing, and updating policies, procedures, and documentation to ensure alignment with business needs and compliance with Federal, State, and local laws and guidelines
  • Proactively addressing complex issues, including mitigating risk and managing situations that result in the best possible outcomes for the company and employees
  • Collaborating with in-house and outside legal counsel
  • Participating in broader HR projects in support of the family office

This is a full-time opportunity with an organization that values confidentiality, respectfulness, and positivity. Experience with HR operations; a proven track record for working through intricate situations; and outstanding research, analysis, and communication skills are required. The annual salary range is expected to be $120,000 to $180,000 (compensation will be commensurate with credentials and experience), and the offer will also include a sign-on bonus and a generous benefits package.
