Job Description:

  • Our client, a community oriented, family run apartment complex, is hiring a Property Manager to join their growing team. The position is full-time permanent with great benefits, and room for growth. 

Things to know about this role:

  • Office Location: Washington, NJ

  • Work Location: Monday-Friday (on-site)

  • Shift: 9am-5pm (evening and weekend hours may be required from time to time) 

  • Salary: $21/hour-$23/hour (plus any overtime as required)

  • Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. Our client is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

  • Proven experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) 

  • Experience with Appfolio software.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day property operations ensuring the highest level of service and satisfaction for residents.

  •  Manage tenant relationships, including addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and conducting phone interviews with prospective residents.

  • Coordinate property maintenance and repairs, ensuring timely and efficient resolutions.

  • Implement and oversee leasing strategies to maximize occupancy and revenue.

  • Maintain accurate records of property activities, lease agreements, and financial transactions.

  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to property management.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED

  • Continuing education courses related to property management, real estate, or business administration can be beneficial and are often encouraged.

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in property management or a related field.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with residents, vendors, and team members.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

  • Must have a valid driver’s license 

  • Must have reliable transportation to ensure timely arrival at work.


Preferred Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving abilities.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in computer usage, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Experience with Appfolio software.

  • Must be fluent in English and Spanish.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Friendly and approachable demeanor.

  • Flexibility to meet the needs of future residents.
