Job DescriptionJob Description

Mr. Electric is currently seeking a Residential coordinator to join our team, who is dedicated to delivering the best customer service experience every day. Our residential coordinators is responsible for dispatching Service Professionals to customer locations for electrical service, repair, and installations.

  • In the role of Residential coordinator, you will be expected to work the hours of 10 am to 7:00 pm 
  • This is a 40 hour per week full-time commitment

Experience Required:

-Excellent customer service within the electrical industry skills with desire to exceed customer expectations.

-Ability to work independently in a timely manner making sure to follow up with customers and fellow employees to assist with calls and office functions.

Descriptions

  • Primary Responsibility is Customer Service
  • Notifies service professionals of work order assignments using GPS tracking and dispatching software (Service Titan)
  • Receives check in call from service professionals and informs workers of next job to respond to
  • Supports service professionals: (assign apprentice when needed, assist with special requests tall ladder, assist with local jurisdiction temp. disconnects and reconnects.)
  • Maintains customer repair records using computer database to give detailed history of the work performed at their sites
  • Maintain dispatching board to ensure maximum efficient capacity of service professionals
  • Manage on-call schedule and notify service professionals of their assigned weeks
  • Maintain record of apprentice daily assignments using dispatch software.
  • Outbound lead phone calls and incoming calls to support CSR fill schedule
  • Sell and convert any approved work and assign to SP.

Skillset:

  • A professional and courteous telephone manner.
  • Ability to handle a multiple-lined phone system. GPS system and dispatch to multiple field service professionals.
  • Patience and endurance to sit/stand behind a desk all day.
  • Able to identify and handle the urgency of each task and work in a high stress position.
  • Is detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task.
  • Basic computer skills to include the following:
  • Strong interpersonal skills such as communication, problem solving and organizational.
  • Perform a variety of tasks, works under general supervision of the office manager
  • General office duties may include filing, sorting, answering phones in a CSR role, greeting customers etc.
  • Familiar with zip codes or comfortable searching addresses/ zip codes.

Schedule:

  • 2ND SHIFT
  • 10am-7pm
  • Saturday- Wednesday
  • Thursday & Friday Off

Experience:

  • Dispatching home services (Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing): 1 year (Preferred)

Work Location: One location in office.
