We are looking to hire a Vice President of Lending. Responsibilities are to lead, direct and coordinate all lending and collections activities for consumer, business, dealers and real estate loans. Create loan growth while ensuring compliance with State and Federal regulations as well as Credit Union policies. Must have in-depth understanding of and ability to interpret regulations affecting lending programs. Extensive knowledge of consumer and real estate lending practices. Serve on the senior management team and assist with meeting all other Credit Union goals and objectives.
Experience: Ten (10) years of consumer lending and Five (5) years of real estate lending. Commercial lending and collections experience a plus.
Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher.
Other Skills: Must have proper grammar, math, typing, and computer skills, and be a persuasive negotiator who is quick thinking and able to use information at hand to quickly resolve issues for all parties. Should be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word, and ability to learn new technology and various other software/lending platforms.
