Job DescriptionJob Description

Talento Search Group has an opening for a Mechanical Field Service Technician in the North Greensboro, North Carolina area.  This position will be responsible for client onsite maintenance/installation of custom built woodworking machinery.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Inspection / troubleshooting equipment failures (primarily mechanical but some electrical)
  • Repairing equipment and replacing faulty parts
  • Provide client technical training as needed
  • Liaison between customer and manufacturer on equipment failures
  • Completion of job reports
  • Maintaining of tools / parts needed for customer support

Education & Experience

  • HS Diploma or Equivalent ( 2 year technical degree highly desirable)
  • Minimum 3 years experience in mechanical maintenance
  • Basic understanding of electrical & mechanical diagrams
  • Knowledge of precision measure tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges)
  • Ability to travel extensively begin with
