Key Responsibilities:
- Perform service and maintenance on a diverse array of commercial HVAC/R systems.
- Respond swiftly to service requests and troubleshoot HVAC/R system issues.
- Employ diagnostic instruments, meters, and gauges to evaluate system performance and determine the root causes of malfunctions.
- Devise effective solutions to technical problems, minimizing disruptions to client operations.
- Clearly communicate findings and proposed solutions to clients.
- Complete necessary documentation using company-issued devices.
- Build and maintain positive client relationships through exceptional customer service and professionalism.
- Participate in an on-call rotation as required.
- Safely operate a company vehicle, adhering to all safety protocols and driving policies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certifications or vocational training in HVAC/R preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Service Technician, focusing on troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing HVAC/R systems.
- Universal EPA certification is required.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.
- Strong understanding of electrical circuits and troubleshooting methodologies.
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools, meters, gauges, and other equipment to assess system performance.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently or collaboratively.
- Strong communication skills for professional client interactions.
- Basic computer proficiency is necessary.
- A valid driver's license with an insurable driving record is required.
- Must successfully pass a drug screening and background check.
