Position: Bid Coordinator / Estimating Precon Department

Company: Fire Guard / Live Wire Electric

Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate the bidding process for electrical projects, ensuring accurate and timely submission of bids and proposals.
- Collaborate with the estimating team to gather project details, conduct material take-offs, analyze labor and equipment requirements, and prepare competitive estimates.
- Review project specifications, drawings, and other bid-related documents to ensure all requirements are met.
- Communicate effectively with clients, architects, and subcontractors to obtain necessary information and clarify bid requirements.
- Maintain bid logs, track project leads, and organize bid-related documentation.
- Assist in building and maintaining a comprehensive subcontractor and supplier database.
- Provide administrative support to the preconstruction team as needed.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field is a plus).
- Previous experience in bid coordination, estimating, or pre construction within the electrical industry is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
