We are seeking a motivated Data Entry Intern to join our client’s team. This entry-level position will provide hands-on experience in data management and analysis within the operational and research framework. The role is ideal for individuals looking to develop their skills in data analytics, reporting, and communication within a research-focused environment.


What you'll do:

· Assist in gathering, entering, and maintaining data from various sources, including mobile and desktop platforms used by clinic communities.

· Support data collection efforts using tools such as Redcap and Qualtrics, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

· Collaborate with research coordinators to understand data needs and requirements.

· Utilize Oracle, SQL, and Excel Star to analyze and manipulate data.

· Create and manage dashboards and reports to replace traditional Excel-based information dissemination.

· Contribute to operational and decision-making processes for the clinic.

· Engage with research coordinators and other stakeholders to gather and clarify data requirements.

· Communicate findings and insights effectively, handling sensitive topics such as medical history.

· Participate in discussions about data collection strategies and the development of research tools.

· Apply knowledge of Excel for data entry and analysis; work towards becoming proficient in SQL.

· Gain experience with Tableau for data visualization and reporting.

· Use Redcap and Qualtrics for survey and data collection management.


Skills needed for success:

· Currently pursuing/recently completed Associate’s degree or a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field

· Basic understanding of data analysis and reporting tools.

· Proficiency in Excel

· Strong communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

· Ability to work collaboratively with research coordinators and team members.

· Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.

· Experience with SQL is a plus.

· Experience with Oracle, SQL, Tableau, Redcap, or Qualtrics.

· Previous experience in a research or clinical setting is advantageous.

· Familiarity with survey tools like SurveyMonkey.
