Job Summary:
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for managing receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures. Maintains warehouse staff job results by coaching, counseling, and mentoring employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
Core Job Responsibilities:
- Directly manages a workforce of approximately 30 team members engaged in warehouse including production line drivers.
- Managing the warehouse, scheduling, quality and procurement team members, includes: performance and attendance management, time management, overtime, team member development and policy compliance.
- Demonstrates our OPERA values.
- Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations, by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
- Complies with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
- Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
- Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system.
- Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
- Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
- Responsible for managing the annual warehouse inventory process.
- Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning team members; following up on work results.
- Maintains warehouse staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting and training new team members.
- Manages the Quality Control department to meet product standards.
- Manages the Safety Quality and Food (SQF) program including the annual certification audit.
- Responsible for providing a safe work environment and participating in plant safety program including safety audits and safety initiatives.
- Complete various supply chain daily reports
- Conducts job, safety and other related PIT training with staff.
- Communicates and enforces company work rules, and policies including attendance.
- Enforces safety rules, housekeeping standards and employee work practices in accordance with company policies and OSHA/FDA regulations.
- Follow all GMP and sanitation guidelines.
- Performs annual performance evaluations of direct reports.
- Imitates corrective and coaching actions.
- Responsible for controlling and monitoring attendance and punctuality of the entire staff.
- Works closely with Safety & Quality team to ensure safety and quality guidelines are sustained.
- Supports all current and new product demands.
- Works with all other departmental areas to maintain productivity and plant initiatives.
- Partners with STM leadership to ensure team collaboration including training methods that leads plant productivity. May participate in required audits.
- Follows our Values, follows company procedures, GMP, and other related safety standards.

Qualifications:
Education - Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Logistics, or equivalent work experience.
Experience – Five (5) to ten (10) years of supervision in a food and/or beverage grade manufacturing environment. Four (4) years in a maintenance management role within a non-union environment, strong Project Management, strong technical knowledge in maintenance trades, equipment design and function.
Skills - Computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word). Good problem solving analysis skills. Knowledge of machine shop and inspection equipment. Must be able to read, write and speak English. Good oral and written communication skills, works well with others. Supervisory skills, inventory control, reporting analytics, analyzing data, and equipment maintenance.

Physical Demands - Described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. While performing duties of this job, employee is required to stand; walk; bend; stoop; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach or grasp with hands and arms; talk and hear. Employee must occasionally lift and / or move up to 25 pounds.
Working Conditions - While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to extreme heat. Employee may also have occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Safety requirements for this position are safety glasses, hearing protection, and hair / beard net. Work a 12+ hour shift. Able to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
