Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our team at Zekelman Industries. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of our warehouse and its personnel. Your primary focus will be on promoting efficiency and safety in our operations, managing inventory levels, and ensuring timely delivery of products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate the receipt, storage, and shipment of goods, ensuring accurate inventory levels and timely delivery.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Lead and motivate a team of warehouse employees, providing coaching, training, and feedback to ensure high performance and productivity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, customer service, and logistics, to ensure seamless execution of customer orders.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators, including inventory turnover, shipping accuracy, and employee safety.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, operations, logistics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a shipping, distribution, or warehouse management role.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and coach a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and internal business application computer systems.
