MISSION

The HR Manager will be responsible to manage the HR dept. of the two plants, apply the company HR strategy, policies and procedures according to the local labor laws, the company certification (ISO 14001, ISO 45001, IATF) and to the HR Group guidelines. Report hierarchically to the NA HR Director

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Implement the HR procedure in the plant;
  • Update and review the organizational charts;
  • Approve JD of the personnel of the plant;
  • Manage the recruiting process for the plant
  • Support the management in defining the training and development needs, Define and execute the annual plan of the plant
  • Apply the performance evaluation and skill evaluation in the plant according to the company procedure and tools;
  • Define and implement all actions to motivate and keep people in the plant;
  • Execute the Employer branding activities for the plants with support of the Group; establish local partnership with School and University;
  • Manage the compensation and benefits system of the plants; cooperate for the annual open enrollment process;
  • Prepare the monthly information for payroll and support Finance dept. in the execution of payroll;
  • Manage the union relationship in the plant of Medina together with Operations dept.: sign company agreement with Union;
  • Apply disciplinary actions vs employees;
  • Manage dismissal procedure and restructuring;
  • Prepare monthly KPI of the plant;
  • Responsible for the internal communication to employees;
  • Manage HR Generalist, develop skills and drive performance to the company target achievement; motivate the team;

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • EXPERIENCES: At least 7/10 years of previous job experiences leading HR Dept of medium size manufacturing plant with Union presence;
  • KNOWLEDGE: payroll software (preferably ADP), benefits management, labor law, all main process and activities of HR management (recruiting, evaluation, motivation etc..);
  • ATTITUDE &SKILLS: Leadership, good negotiation skills; Proactivity, problem solving; Open mind and strategic thinking;
  • Required periodic travel to Tiffin
